J.D. Snoddy Receives Continuing Education Training

Circuit Clerk,J.D. Snoddy is shown receiving certificate from Alabama Chief Justice Roy S. Moore at
the Circuit Clerks Annual Continuing Education Training on July 19, 2013. In 1984 the Alabama Judicial College and representatives of the Circuit Clerks started the continuing education certificate program. As a Circuit Clerk, there is no requirement to acquire CEU or CLE credit; however the Alabama Judiciary has always recognized the importance of continuing legal education as a method of building a strong judicial system and being responsive to the citizens of the state. The awards are presented in 100-hour increments, which must be obtained within a four-year period with programs conducted within the State of Alabama.
